Irish duo set to return … Nothing is written in stone yet, but Notre Dame got some good news when both TE Cole Kmet and LT Liam Eichenberg indicated that they plan on returning for their senior campaigns next fall. Kmet, in fact, figured to be one of the better prospects at the position in the upcoming draft, but he missed the first five games of the year with an injury. Since returning to the lineup, he has emerged as one of the Irish’s most dependable receivers with 29 receptions for over 300 yards and 5 scores in just 4 games. Meanwhile, the 6-5, 305-pound Eichenberg is already a two-year starter who also figures to have at least top 100 potential for the 2021 draft.
