Iowa CB DeJean, 2 ‘Horns enters draft … Iowa CB Cooper DeJean, the top rated CB in the 2024 draft class and a top 15-20 prospect for the upcoming draft, has announced that he will be entering the 2024 draft despite missing the latter part of the season with an undisclosed lower leg injury. DeJean will be joined in the 2024 draft by a pair of former Texas Longhorns including DT Byron Murphy and RB Jonathan Brooks. Both were rising stars in this year’s draft class, although Brooks fortunes took a hit when he suffered a torn ACL, but is expected to be ready for fall camp. Elsewhere in college football, former Kansas State QB Will Howard has transferred to Ohio State, while star Mississippi State sophomore RB Quinshon Judkens, a top prospect for the 2025 draft, has announced that he will be transferring.
