Injury update from around college football … Weather permitting, there is another great weekend of college football coming up with as many as 4 games between teams ranked in the top 25. Headlining this week’s schedule is an inter-divisional SEC match-up in which #9 Tennessee plays at #8 Texas A&M (3:30 PM ET) on Saturday afternoon on CBS. And one of the big questions in that game who actually plays. A&M junior DE Myles Garrett, the consensus top prospect overall for the 2017 draft, again will be listed as a game-time decision because of an ankle injury. Same story for Aggies’ WRs Ricky Seals-Jones and Speedy Noil. Meanwhile, the resurgent Vols have confirmed that junior RB Jalen Hurd will not play because of a lower leg injury, while OLB Jalen Reeves-Maybin and CB Cameron Sutton are also both out with shoulder and leg injuries respectively. Elsewhere, Oklahoma junior DT Charles Walker, a second-day candidate for the upcoming draft, will miss tomorrow’s Red River shootout with Texas because of a concussion, while USC OT Zach Banner is doubtful for tomorrow’s game with Colorado. One other college football note of note: the Georgia-South Carolina game originally scheduled for tomorrow has been pushed back to 2:30 PM ET on Sunday because of the storm
