Injuries of note in today’s college football … There were several injuries/issues of note in this afternoon’s college football games.Ohio State RB Tre’Veyon Henderson, one of the top 2-3 prospects at the positions for the 2024 draft, was a surprise late scratch from today’s 37-17 win over Maryland. The Buckeyes still haven’t said definitively why Henderson play, but coach Ryan Day indicated after the game that he the move was more precautionary and he should be good to go next weekend. However, that has to be a little worrisome to pro scouts as Henderson missed 6 games last fall after breaking a bone in his foot. Meanwhile, Jalon Catalon of Texas and Alabama’s Malachi Moore, a couple of solid second-tier safeties, both left their games earlier today with what looked like potentially serious knee injuries. Stay tuned.
