Indy, we have a problem; multiple players threaten to boycott combine … The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting this evening that as many as 155 players are threatening to limit their participation in next week’s scouting combine in Indianapolis if some of the league’s “bubble” restrictions for this year’s event aren’t changed. The restrictions include players being allowed only one medical support person who must be fully vaccinated; players will also be restricted to secure venues during their entire time at the combine and that any players who violate these policies will be sent home. There have also been reports that some players and their agents are unhappy that the weigh-in session, the bench press and the on-field physical testing will all be held on the same day this year, whereas in the past they were each held on different days.
