Husky DT Vea to enter draft; two others stay put … Washington junior DT Vita Vea told the Seattle Times after yesterday’s Fiesta Bowl loss to Penn State that he will be entering the 2018 draft where he has first-round potential. The 6-4, 340-pound Vea had 44 tackles including 3.5 sacks this fall. Meanwhile, fellow junior DT Greg Gaines says he will return to school for his senior season, while junior RB Myles Gaskin, who ran for almost 1,400 yards and 21 TDs this fall, says he is 50-50 on whether he will return or join Vea in the draft. Across the country, Miami junior FS Jaquan Johnson has said he will also be returning to school. Underclassmen have until January 15th to file paperwork with the NFL in order to be eligible for this year’s draft.
