Top QB prospect for 2018 has shoulder surgery … Washington has confirmed that star redshirt sophomore QB Jake Browning, one of the leading prospects at the position for the 2018 draft, has had surgery on his throwing shoulder. The exact nature of the injury has not been disclosed, but the recovery time is expected to be about six weeks. Browning originally injured the shoulder during the Huskies’ game with Arizona State in mid-November, but he played through it including the Pac-12 conference championship game and the Huskies’ loss to Alabama in the CFP playoffs.
