Bad back keeps star Huskies’ OT Adams out of season opener … Washington OT Trey Adams, a potential opening round pick in 2019, did not play in the Huskies’ season-opening loss to Auburn earlier today because of a sore back. In fact, Adams didn’t even make the trip east to Atlanta where the game was played. Given his size – Adams is listed at 6-8 – a back issue will always be of concern to pro scouts, although it does not appear to be related to the torn ACL he suffered in mid-season last fall; indeed, Adams has been working out without limitation the past several weeks until the back flared up.
