Huskers’ QB to transfer portal … Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez has become the latest veteran college QB to announce that they will be entering the transfer portal and playing elsewhere next fall. Martinez was a 4-year starter and three-time team captain with the Huskers, but could never get Nebraska over the hump as they never won more than 5 games in a single season in his tenure there which included a 3-9 record this fall. Despite playing 4 years with Nebraska, Martinez actually has two years of eligibility left; he has yet to redshirt and gets a free year from the NCAA for last year’s covid interrupted campaign.
