Hokie WR out for bowl … Virginia Tech WR Cam Phillips, the school’s all-time leading receiver, will not play in the Hokies’ bowl game after undergoing surgery to repair a sports hernia. Phillips, a late round prospect for the upcoming draft, had 71 catches for almost 1.000 yards this fall.What isn’t clear is whether he will be good to go for pre-draft testing in February and March.
