Heisman QB going to Senior Bowl … The Senior Bowl has only released the names of two new players who have accepted invitations to this year’s game on January 31st but they’re both interesting in their own way. On the one hand, one of those two players in Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia, one of the 4 finalists for this year’s Heisman Trophy which will be awarded later this week. The other new addition to the Mobile game is Kentucky RB Seth McGowan. And if that name sounds vaguely familiar, he’s the guy who spent three months in jail for a botched robbery that he was involved after his freshman year in 2020. In fact, the 6-0, 215-pound McGowan didn’t play at all 2021-2023 before finally getting back on the field in 2024.
