Hawaii WR Ursua enters draft

December 26, 2018

Hawaii  WR enters draft … Expect a rush of underclassmen announcing their 2019 NFL plans at this time next week. For now, though, the latest underclassman to indicate they will be turning pro this winter is Hawaii junior WR John Urua, one of the most productive receivers in the country over the past couple of years. This year for example, Ursua had 89 total receptions for almost 1,350 yards and 16 TDs; in fact, those 16 TD receptions led all FBS receivers, while he was 8th in the nation in receiving yards per game. Ursua isn’t all that big at barely 5-9, 175, but he’s very quick with decent closing speed. Still, its not clear though where teams have him rated, although he could get some early to mid third day looks this coming April.
