Have arm will travel; young QB on the move again … QB Grant Gunnell has confirmed that he is transferring to North Texas. Gunnell was originally a 4-star Arizona recruit out of the Houston area in 2019, but transferred to Memphis after two seasons in the PAC-12. Gunnell, though, didn’t play at all last year after undergoing surgery on a leg. Gunnell, at 6-6, 230, is a prototype pocket passer with a strong arm who actually put up some decent numbers at Arizona (67% completion rate and 15 TDs against just three picks) and has three years of eligibility remaining.
