Griz WR enters draft

Griz WR enters draft … With the deadline for underclassmen to file paperwork with the NFL to be eligible for the 2016 draft looming later today, Montana WR Ellis Henderson is the latest junior to announce they will be foregoing their final year of eligibility and entering this year’s draft. If nothing else, Henderson may get points from the NFL for honesty. Henderson, the Grizzlies’ second-leading receiver in 2015 with 49 catches for over 800 yards and 7 scores, missed most of 2014 while battling anxiety and depression, said he felt like a continual sadness followed him in Missoula that weighed on his performance both academically and athletically. “I don’t expect to be drafted” said Henderson who is likely just hoping to get a free agent tryout or contract offer from a CFL team.
