Gator PK enters draft; Big Ten QB stays put … Florida junior PK Eddie Pineiro has announced via twitter that he will be entering the 2018 draft where he is expected to be one of the first kickers selected. The GBN currently has him rated as the #2 PK behind Auburn’s Daniel Carlson with the potential to be an early third pick this year. Pineiro converted 17 of his 18 FG attempts this year and has a school record 88% career conversion rate. Pineiro is the 3rd Florida junior to declare for the draft joining DT Taven Bryan and WR Antonio Callaway. Meanwhile, Northwestern junior QB Clayton Thorson, who had been viewed as something of a dark horse late riser, has announced that he will be returning to school for his senior season next fall.
