G.O.A.T. steps down ... It seemed like he would play forever. However, even Tom Brady has said he’s had enough and has just formally announced his retirement from the NFL. Brady played for 22 years in the league during which he won 7 Super Bowls. And he goes out on top. Tampa Bay won’t repeat as Super Bowl champions, but Brady had another MVP-worthy type season as he passed for a career high 5,300 yards. He retires as the NFL’s all-time leading passer with almost 85,000 yards and 624 TD passes. Of course, with Brady riding off into retirement, Tampa Bay needs to find a new QB.
