Falcons shuffle front office; new G.M. in D.C. … While they are still in the market for a new head coach to replace Mike smith who was fired at the end of the season, Atlanta has re-organized its front office with assistant G.M. Scott Pioli taking over some of the player evaluation responsibilities from current G.M. Tom Dimitroff. Pioli will run Atlanta’s pro and college scouting departments and will take responsibility for the team’s draft process. Meanwhile, Washington has finalized the deal to make Scot McCloughan the team’s new general manager. McCloughan is a former 49ers’ general manager who was most recently a personnel executive at Seattle wher he helped build the Seahawks into Super Bowl winners.
