Four more underclassmen

January 4, 2016

Star Ole Miss OT heads another group of four early draft entrants … Mississippi junior LT Laremy Tunsil, a serious cndidate to be the first player selected at the 2016 draft, ended whatever suspense there was about his football future when he announced late this afternoon that he would indeed be entering the upcoming draft. Also making their intention to enter the 2016 draft late this afternoon were Baylor junior CB Xavien Howard and WRs Bralon Addison of Oregon and Ohio State redshirt sophomore Jalin Marshall. The 6-1, 200-pound Addison is a late second-day prospect who was a first-team All-Big XII performer this past season in which he had 5 interceptions. Addison is a junior slot receiver who bounced back nicely from a torn ACL that ruined his 2014 season to haul in 63 passes, including ten for scores, in the Ducks high-octane offense. Meanwhile, the word out of Ohio State is that the last underclassmen to leave town should turn off the lights; indeed, the 5-10, 205-pound Marshall who has track speed, is the 7th Buckeye underclassman to enter this year’s draft; he’s an athletic former superstar high school option QB with a ton of upside who had 36 pass receptions this fall. The addition of these four brings the number of underclassmen who have indicated in one or another they will file paperwork with the NFL to enter this year’s draft to 67 by our unofficial count.
