Foster/Drango

December 30, 2014

Pair staying in school … Arizona State junior RB D.J. Foster has announced that he has decided to pass on this year’s NFL draft and instead will instead return to school for his senior season. While not necessarily a household word among draft watchers, NFL scouts are very aware of Foster, arguably the most versatile back in the country after he ran for almost 1,100 yards last fall while chipping in another 650 yards on 62 receptions. Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports that Baylor junior OT Spencer Drango, a possible late first round pick this year had he entered the 2015 draft, has also decided to return to school. That makes it a two-fer for the Bears who earlier got the news that star junior DE Shawn Oakman would also be returning to Waco next fall.
