Former Jag DE Ngakoue now also former Vike DE; traded to Ravens … Minnesota made one of the splashier moves of the past off-season when they acquired disguntled DE Yannick Ngakoue from Jacksonville in exchange for a second round pick in 2021 and a 5th in 2022. Less that half a season later, though, Ngakoue is on the move again as the Vikings just traded him to Baltimore for a 3rd rounder in 2021 plus a conditional 2022 fifth-round pick. For the mathematically challenged, that’s less than the Vikings sent to the Jags in the first place. And its not that Ngakoue wasn’t productive with the Vikings as he had 5 sacks in the 6 games he played in Minnesota, but it appears that the 1-5 Vikings, one of the most disappointing teams in the league so far this season, may now be in rebuild mode.
