First impression South practice … We were kind of hoping to be able to post some early impressions from this afternoon’s South practice at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, but after a rather low-key workout we’ve come up kind of empty. The one thing that kind of jumped out was how poorly West Virginia QB Will Grier threw the ball. Grier lacks a prototype big arm so has to get by on his ability to read the field, along with a quick release and pinpoint accuracy. Instead, Grier was none of those things as he appeared to be almost guessing and trying to guide his throws rather than cutting loose.
