Both groups of OL times available … We now have unofficial times for both groups of offensive linemen running today at the combine. Here are the updated unofficial results for the OTs, OGs and Cs. For the record, while none of the top OTs posted anything close to a ‘WOW’ figure all ran well enough with John Alt posting a good 5.05 clocking, Olu Fashanu a 5.11, Taliese Fuaga at 5.14 and Tyler Guyton at 5.19 in the first group, while Amarius Mims had a 5.07 in the second along with a 5.05 by Jordan Morgan, a 5.06 by Kingsley Saumataia, and a 5.14 by Patrick Paul. In the end, Roger Rosengarten posted the fastest time by an OT at 4.92 edging out relative unknowns Frank Crum of Wyoming (4.94) and UCF’s Tylan Grable (4.96). Interestingly, the OG group actually ran a bit as a group with a half dozen guards getting in under 5.05 seconds including Wisconsin’s Tanor Bartolini (4.94), Cooper Beebe of K-State (5.05), Christian Haynes of UConn (5.03), CJ Hanson of Holy Cross (5.00) and TCU’s Brandon Coleman. And just to add a note to the OL weigh-in report. In fact, when we posted that report there were actually still a few offensive linemen to be measured and Patrick Paul of Houston ultimately took the ‘wingspan’ award as he measured in at 6-7, 331 with 36: arms that gives him an 86″ wingspan.
