Final week on pro day sked … The final full week of the annual pro day schedule gets underway tomorrow with workouts at Florida and North Carolina among other schools. No doubt QB Sam Howell, the last of this year’s top QB prospects to throw for NFL personnel people, will be front and center at the UNC session. Then on Tuesday there will be pro days at Florida State, North Carolina State, Purdue and Washington, again among other schools. And it will be interesting to see who shows up at those workouts with a number of top prospects scheduled to at least show up including OT Ickey Ekwonu at NC State, OLB Jermaine Johnson at Florida State and DE George Karlaftis at Purdue. Then on Wednesday, expect anyone who’s anyone in the NFL to show up at the Alabama pro day, although there will also be workouts at Tennessee, Miami, Baylor and Boise State. Meanwhile, there shouldn’t be much April Fool’s joking on Thursday when the Oregon Ducks, including DE Kayvon Thibodeaux, get their last chance to impress pro scouts.
