Final mocks posted … Not sure if any mock drafts these days are worth the cyberpaper they are printed on; fact is that after the LA Rams and Philadelphia select QBs with the first two picks in tomorrow’s draft, everybody’s just guessing. In the end what one ends up with are literally 100s of mock drafts in circulation which don’t rise much beyond the level of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Needless to say some of these mocks will ultimately be marginally closer to the real thing than others, but for the most part that will be because the author guessed better! In fact, we were seriously considering making the GBN a ‘mock-free zone’ the final couple of weeks leading up to the draft. Turns out, though, that there is a regulation that all accredited NFL draft web sites HAVE to have a final projection so here we go with our final mocks by GBN editor Grumpy Lindsay and investigative reporter and quality control officer Larry Parker. And between the two we actually guarantee that we probably got at least a half dozen or so picks dead-on; the rest well – meh!
