DE Fields commits to ACC Cards … Former TCU DE Devonte Fields has confirmed that he is transferring to Louisville. Fields appeared to be a rising star when he was named the Big XII Freshman of the Year in 2012 after racking up 10 sacks, but he ended up playing for a community college last season after he was kicked out of TCU for allegedly pointing a gun at his ex-girlfriend. Fields had considered entering the 2015 draft, but will now have at least one one season against FBS opposition to restore some credibility with NFL personnel people for the 2016 draft, although he technically could have two seasons of eligibility left as he only played in three games in 2013 because of an injury and has yet to redshirt.
