Falcons trade suspended WR Ridley to Jags … Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that Atlanta has traded suspended WR Calvin Ridley to Jacksonville in a somewhat complicated deal. Ridley is suspended for the entire 2022 season for betting on NFL games. In return, the Falcons will get a 2023 5th rounder if Ridley is reinstated by a certain date – presumably the start of the 2023 season, otherwise it’s for a 6th. The Falcons could also get a 2024 pick which would be a 4th if Ridley makes the team that year, a 3rd if he hits a specified PT and a 2 if Ridley signs a long-term deal.
