Falcons lose pick, Eagles cleared in tampering cases … The NFL has finally ruled on the tampering cases involving Atlanta and Philadelphia and as a result the Falcons will forfeit their 5th-round pick in the 2025 draft and fined $250,000, while the Eagles were cleared of any wrongdoing. The allegations involving the Falcons with QB Kirk Cousins, WR Darnell Mooney and TE Charlie Woerner prior to this year official unrestricted free agency period. For their part, the Eagles were alleged to have had personal contact with former Giants’ RB Saquon Barkley prior to the start of free agency.
