Even more 40 updates

Even more 40 updates … We stand corrected on the QBs running the 40 today. While there are only 15 QBs in Indy this week, they were actually broken into two groups and most of the second group did including Pitt’s Kenny Pickett who posted a very athletic 4.67 seconds. Cincinnati’s Des Ridder, though, blew the competition away, at least at QB, running under 4.50, while Brown’s EJ Perry impressed with a 4.60 clocking. Meanwhile, Ohio State’s Chris Olave just set the bar for the second group of WRs with a remarkable unofficial clocking of 4.26. Wow! At the same time, Ridder’s Cincy teammate Alec Pierce is really putting on a show as he had an unofficial 40 clocking of 4.33, along with a 40.5-inch vertical, all that at 6-2.5, 211. We also just confirmation of the official numbers for the first group of WRs and it was actually Tennessee’s Velus Jones who had the fastest time there at 4.31 while Rutgers Bo Melton opened some eyes with a 4.34 time. And yes Treylon Burks was credited with an ‘average’ official time of 4.55.
