Eagles dump personnel VP … Philadelphia has announced a parting of the ways with Tom Gamble, their VP of player personnel. Gamble, who has been described as a close ally of Eagles’ head coach Chip Kelly, was the #2 man in the Eagles’ personnel organization behind general manager Howie Roseman. In fact, the move highlights what are believed to be some tensions between Roseman and Kelly. All of this takes place in the midst of rumors that Roseman may – or may not – have had some preliminary discussions with the Jets about their G.M. vacancy earlier this week. Stay tuned.
