Eagles-Dolphins trade appears to be back on … The on-again, off-again proposed trade in which Miami would get CB Byron Maxwell and LB Kiki Alonso from Philadelphia looks like it is back on again, although we not actually be sure until the deal is confirmed at 4 PM ET later today once the new football year was underway. There were reports that the Dolphins were worried about an injury to Maxwell’s shoulder but he apparently cleared the team’s physical earlier this morning. If the deal is in fact confirmed later today, the Eagles and Dolphins have reportedly agreed to exchange places in the first round of the upcoming draft. That would have given the Eagles the 8th pick overall, while Miami would have moved down to #13. Stay tuned!
