Dolphins making push to get to #1 … With just over 6 hours to go until the start of the 2020 draft, the word around the league is that Miami is making a real push to trade up with Cincinnati in order to acquire the #1 pick in tonight’s draft, ostensibly to select LSU QB Joe Burrow. The Dolphins, of course, already have the 5th pick as part of the package and are reportedly trying to move to acquire the 3rd pick from the Lions without giving up the 5th. The Dolphins also have the 18th and 26th picks in the opening round, but that’s a long way to go. In the end, the Dolphins would also likely have to surrender their #1 pick in 2021, but that may be the price of doing business. Stay tuned.
