Deion ‘happy’ where Shedeur ends up … Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and father of Buffs QB Shedeur, one of the top prospects for the 2025 draft, went on the record earlier today on a podcast with Skip Bayless saying that they would be ‘happy’ with whatever team that needs a QB selects Shedeur at next month’s draft. And he named Tennessee, Cleveland, the Giants, New Orleans and Pittsburgh as ‘teams that need a QB.’ Deion may have been trying to put to rest some whispers that the Sanders might force Cleveland to pass on Shedeur with the 2nd pick overall in next month’s draft so he could be selected by the Giants who have the next pick, after someone said they heard Deion say that Shedeur was “headed to New York” or an earlier podcast over the weekend. In fact, so far anyway, there has not been much in the way of actual noise suggesting that the Sanders were in fact trying to manipulate the draft.
