Deadline passes with two Bucks in, one out … Updated: The deadline for underclassmen to apply for early entry to the 2021 draft passed earlier today with, as far we can tell, only one new name added to the list. That was Ohio State junior DT Tommy Togiai. In fact, the only other real news this afternoon was that rising Ohio State junior Chris Olave has decided to stay in school, while we also got formal confirmation that Buckeyes OG Wyatt Davis is still in the draft. There was some speculation that Davis, one of the top interior offensive linemen in this year’s draft class who had declare for the draft earlier this fall, might opt out after suffering what appeared to be a potentially serious knee injury during the Buckeyes CFP semi-final win over Clemson. The 2021 draft class, though, did lose one player today as Oklahoma State junior safety Kolby Harvell-Peel had withdrawn his application. For the record, by our unofficial count, 130 underclassmen have applied to the NFL for early entry to the 2021 draft; however, the NFL will release a final list after the 72-hour window for applicants to withdraw their applications if they have neither signed with an agent nor accepted improper benefits closes on Thursday.
