The Panthers could still technically tie Arizona with 3 wins if they were to lose to the Jags while the Cardinals lose both their remaining games, but Arizona still has a much stronger SOS figure than Carolina. However, Carolina might have a decent chance in Jacksonville as the Jags star QB Trevor Lawrence won’t play because of an injury. Instead the Panthers will face veteran journeyman CJ Beathard. At the same time, the other teams currently sitting on the upcoming drafts very early picks are in relatively tough this week.
