Cowboys get DE Bennett from Pats for late future pick … Dallas has reportedly acquired veteran DE Michael Bennett from New England in exchange for what is being described as a conditional 7th round pick in 2021. The pick could escalate to a 6th if Bennett meets certain productivity goals. Bennett, who turns 34 early next month, was suspended by the Patriots for last week’s game for conduct detrimental to the team following a disagreement with defensive line coach Bret Bielema, which sources said occurred in front of other players.
