Couple of top ’27 prospects to portal … A pair of top prospects for the 2027 draft will be putting their names into the transfer portal when it officially opens on Friday. The two are North Texas QB Drew Mestemaker, college football’s leading passer this past season, and Auburn WR Cam Coleman. Mestemaker, a 6-4, 210-pound redshirt freshman who originally walked on at North Texas, threw for almost 4,400 yards and 34 TDs this past season, while the 6-3, 200-pound Coleman, a true sophomore, had 56 receptions for over 700 yards in an Aubur offense that really didn’t throw the ball all that well.
