Big uglies hit field to hilite day four at combine … The NFL’s annual scouting combine really kicks into high gear this morning with the offensive linemen and TEs set to hit the field for their on-field testing and positional drills. The NFL Network will be covering the on-field activities from gavel to gavel starting at 9 AM ET while we’ll be hitting the highlites and lowlites with regular updates on the Combine Blog. Meanwhile, the QBs, WRs and RBs will do the bench press today while they wait for their chance to go through their on-field stuff tomorrow. At the same time, the defensive linemen and LBs will go through the measurement process, while the defensive backs will be arriving in town and will go through their first battery of medical tests. One note regarding tomorrow’s on-field testing for the offensive skill position players: it appears that Florida State QB Jameis Winston may be wavering in his decision to participate fully in the throwing drills. It had been reported that Winston would be throwing but he now says he’s 50-50 about fully participating.
