Colts name rook QB week one starter … Indianapolis confirmed earlier today that rookie Anthony Richardson, the 4th player picked at this past April’s draft, will be their starting QB when the regular season kicks off next month. Richardson had been in a dead-heat battle with veteran Gardner Minshew to win the job. And it appears no one was more shocked at the announcement than Richardson himself. The Colts open the season on September 10th when they host Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
