College QB carousel continues to spin … You’ll probably need a program to figure who’s at QB when the 2022 college football season rolls around next fall. Another huge domino fell earlier this week with word that former Oklahoma freshman All-America QB Caleb Williams, an early favorite to be the first pick at the 2024, was transferring to Southern California. With the Trojans, Williams will be reunited with Lincoln Riley, who jumped to USC from Oklahoma earlier this year. At USC, Williams will replace Jaxson Dart, another rising freshman who moved on himself with a transfer to Mississippi where he’ll replace Matt Corral who is off to the NFL draft. Meanwhile, Kedon Slovis, whom Dart beat out for the Trojans starting gig transferred to Pittsburgh where he will replace Kenny Pickett, another front-runner to be the first QB selected at this year’s draft. Meanwhile, there’ll be no tears for Oklahoma after former Central Florida star Dillon Gabriel went big-time by transferring to the Sooners. For the record, there’ll be a test on all this tomorrow!!
