Opportunities for Irish, Dawgs hilite college sked … The college football season really starts to heat up this weekend with 5 games involving teams ranked in the top 25. Maybe the two biggest games have #13 Alabama playing at #8 Georgia on Saturday afternoon, while 6th ranked Notre Dame goes to 12th rated Clemson in an evening game on national television. And while we are just in the first week of October, each game has national championship implications as both Georgia and Notre Dame see themselves as legitimate post-season contenders, but needless to say need wins in this weekend’s games to keep those dreams percolating. Here’s a quick preview of who to watch in this week’s big games with an eye toward the 2016 draft.
