College football notes

November 6, 2024

College football notes … A couple or three notes from college football. Oregon will be without WR Tez Johnson for what the team is describing as ‘awhile’ after he suffered a shoulder injury in the top-ranked Ducks win over Maryland this past weekend, although the team claims they do expect him back at some point this season. On the other hand, it does not appear as if rising Texas A&M RB Le’Veon Moss will be so lucky. Moss suffered an undisclosed lower leg injury in the Aggies’ loss at South Carolina on the weekend and will miss the rest of the year. As such, its likely that the 3rd year junior will back at school next fall. Meanwhile, in a bit of a surprise, Southern Cal has made a change at QB, benching Miller Moss and replacing him with Jayden Maiava. It wasn’t that long ago that Moss was being whispered about as a potential dark-horse sleeper candidate for the upcoming draft. Again, its now more than likely that Moss is back in college next fall, but its also possible that he transfers.
