Heads – or tails – up about coin flip … The NFL will reportedly hold the coin flip to determine the 14th and 15th picks at the 2017 draft at 12:30 PM later this afternoon. The flip will also reportedly be covered on the NFL Network. A coin flip is necessary to break a tie in this year’s selection order between Minnesota and Kansas City, both of which finished the season at 8-8 and had the same strength of schedule. There are other tie breakers but they only apply to ties between teams in the same conference.
