Coin flip to decide top pick in weekly selection order … Yesterday, we initially, and at the time erroneously, reported that despite their first win of the season, the NY Jets would still be sitting atop the updated, first-round selection order for the 2026 draft for the week. However, we’d somehow managed to overlook the Saints who actually would have picked first, at least at the end of Sunday’s 4 PM games. But when the dust cleared at week’s end, the Jets and Saints came in with the same SOS figure, again at least for the week, and if the draft were to be held this week, the two teams would have to flip for it.
