Coach/dad Prime puts brakes on Buffs’ QB Sanders to pros talk … Right on cue, just after we post a 2024 projection with Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders going to the NY Giants with the 4th pick overall at the 2024 draft, Deion Sanders, the players father and coach, hinted in the local press that the Buffs’ star might not in fact head to the NFL this winter, saying in effect that they ‘were having too much fun’ in the college game. Indeed, Sanders – the QB – is reportedly already making upwards of $5M a year from NIL deals. There also the fact that if Sanders were to return to school in 2024 he would likely be the presumptive favorite to be the #1 pick overall at the 2025 draft which does not have a stellar QB class like this year.
