Clemson-FSU postponed … Turns out Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence will have to wait another week to return to action as today’s game at Florida State has been postponed because of covid-related issues. Lawrence, the presumptive #1 pick at the upcoming draft, missed the past couple of weeks after he was diagnosed with covid symptoms. Today’s game was postponed after a Clemson player tested positive and the medical staffs on the two teams couldn’t agree on how to proceed. According to the ACC the game could be made up in December. The Clemson-FSU game is not the only late cancellation as the PAC-12 game between Washington State and Stanford also had to be cancelled when WSU fell below the minimum number of scholarship players available after a number of Cougars tested positive in the past day or so. That game will not reportedly be made up. In fact, there is growing concern among college football executives that the season may becoming increasingly unsustainable in the coming weeks with the pandemic surging. Stay tuned!
