Clemson DT Bresee sits out State

October 1, 2022

Clemson DT Bresee sits out State; so does UGA DT Carter  … Star Clemson DT Bryan Bresee, a top 5-10 prospect for the upcoming draft, did not suit up for tonight’s Top 10 show-down with North Carolina State Clemson because of a non-football medical issue that required bloodwork and observation this week. Reportedly, everything is fine and Bresee is not expected to miss extended time, but it is something to keep an eye on going forward. Bresee did not play two weeks ago after a younger sister passed away. And while Bresee sits out completely, Georgia DT Jalen Carter, the other top 5-10 DT in this year’s draft class, has spent the bulk of tonight’s game at Missouri nursing a knee injury. Carter, who has been dealing with an ankle problem pretty much all season, had a Missouri offensive lineman roll up on his lower leg while he was engaged with another offensive lineman.
