Clemson DE to have shoulder re-checked … Albert Breer of the NFL Network is reporting that Clemson DE Shaq Lawson, a potential top 15 pick at the upcoming draft, has been flagged to return to Indianapolis to have an injured shoulder rechecked. Lawson did not lift at either the combine or his pro day last week, but did play through the injury – and had 12.5 sacks – last season wearing a brace. In fact, Lawson never missed a game over his three seasons at Clemson. However, NFL teams looking at Lawson as a possible early pick this year will want to know whether there is something potential chronic there or whether the recall to Indianapolis is just routine.
