Clark plea deal

April 10, 2015

Charges against UM DE Clark lowered in plea deal … Former Michigan DE Frank Clark won’t have to face any more jail time after he accepted a plea bargain in which he plead guilty to a charge of persistent disorderly conduct, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, while first-degree misdemeanor charges for domestic violence and assault were dismissed. Clark was fined $250 along with court costs of $100 and an undisclosed probation fee, but will not have to serve any additional jail time. The charges stemmed from an incident in November when Clark allegedly roughed up his live-in girlfriend while spending a bye weekend with her family. The 6-3, 271-pound Clark was subsequently kicked off the Michigan team, but got back on the draft radar with a strong combine and pro day as he is one of the better true 4-3 DEs available in this year’s draft, although he is still most likely a 3rd day pick.
