Charges against top-rated Ole Miss OT to be dropped … Star Mississippi junior OT Laremy Tunsil, a potential top 5 pick at the 2016 draft, will reportedly be dropped om Monday as the player and his stepfather, who have domestic violence charges pending against each other, have agreed not to pursue legal action against one another. Tunsil had reportedly stepped into a fight between his mother and stepfather and punched the latter. Tunsil has been suspended from the team since but is expected to be reinstated as quickly as possible. However, there is still the matter of possible further sanctions from the NCAA which investigated after the stepfather claimed that the original altercation occurred because Tunsil was ‘riding around with agents’ although now that he and Tunsil have agreed to drop charges he may no longer be willing to co-operate with the NCAA. Stay tuned.
