Charges dropped against OSU DT … A misdemeanor solicitation charge against Ohio State DT Adolphus Washington has been dismissed under a plea deal in which the former Buckeyes’ star agreed to complete a program in which men learn about victimization of prostitutes. Washington, who had been considered to be a possible late-first round candidate for the 2016 draft, had agreed to pay an undercover officer $100 for sex after responding to an online ad back in December and was subsequently suspended from the Buckeyes’ Fiesta Bowl victory over Notre Dame on January 1st. As a result of the charges, it appears Washington’s grade across the NFL dropped a half round or so – he is currently the 9th rated DT on the GBN Big Board and 44th player overall – but this week’s combine may offer him the chance to move back up if he can impress on the field and in interviews.
